Fran McKee, Pinnacle Marketing Director joins Titan artist Pili Duncan to launch Elmer's Big Trail Belfast
Pinnacle was delighted to join the Northern Ireland Hospice today, as it officially launched Elmer's Big Trail Belfast 2022, hosted at the Titanic Hotel.
The biggest fundraising campaign in the Northern Ireland Hospice's history, 'Elmer's Big Belfast Trail' will run from the 20th of June to the 30th of August. The trail will display 70 specially commissioned elephant sculptures by local artists, starting at the Titanic Quarter and throughout prominent locations in Belfast.
Pinnacle's Marketing Director Fran McKee joined the launch event with artist Pili Duncan who was commissioned to design Pinnacle's sponsored Elmer elephant called "Titan".
Pili's design of Titan symbolises the delicate bone china used in the second-class dining room of the Titanic. Her floral pattern is an adaptation of the original design used on the delph of the Titanic and embodies a strong connection to the history of Belfast
Fran explains the reason for the Elmer design choice, "We chose Titan not only for its beautiful design and interpretation, but it also linked Pinnacle's long-standing presence in East Belfast, the home of Titanic. The Titanic Museum is also a valued customer of Pinnacle so we loved that connection.
We are really looking forward to getting our teams, friends, and family involved in the trail over the coming weeks to raise vital funds for the Nothern Ireland Hospice".
You can find Pinnacle's Elmer elephant, Titan, beside the Nomadic and Titanic Museum.
