October 29, 2021 | News
The announcement comes just 3 months after acquiring TMS Scotland’s Sage division, which added over 140 Sage customers and 8 staff to the business.
The acquisition further strengthens Pinnacle’s presence in Scotland as a leading provider of Sage software and IT Services.
James Spencer, MD of Pinnacle, comments on the latest acquisition:-
“This move aligns our goals and ambitions to provide the SME market with a complete end-to-end technology partnership. Pinnacle offers our customers a full set of integrated services including business management software as well as IT-related services, and that will bolster our offering to the Scottish market. In recent months we have focused growth towards Scotland and continue to seek out acquisition opportunities throughout the UK”.
Gavin Brown, Director of IT Services at Pinnacle, welcomes 6 technical staff and 60 IT Services customers who join an ever-expanding team located throughout Scotland and the rest of the UK. Gavin comments,
“I am delighted to conclude the acquisition of the IT Services business of TMS Scotland. This marks a significant milestone for Pinnacle and strengthens our IT Services presence in Scotland.
It’s fantastic to also welcome new colleagues to our team. I look forward to working with them all”.
TMS will continue to be a strong force in the UK CAD & Construction software markets and will shift focus to work exclusively in these areas going forward.
Alastair Thom CA, Director of TMS Scotland Ltd, commented on the second acquisition with Pinnacle,
“We are delighted to enter into this further agreement with Pinnacle. Pinnacle has an excellent reputation as an IT Support provider – plus we know from past dealings with the recent Sage acquisition that they will give our ex-customers continued quality service.
Pinnacle will also provide our ex-colleagues with the opportunity to thrive in their larger IT support environment. Something that was an important factor to us when concluding the acquisition”.
Pinnacle has partnerships with global IT providers including Microsoft, Sophos, and N-able.
